Andie Rosafort Abuse, 31, is a cafeteria worker from New Fairfield charged with engaging in inappropriate conduct with a 14 year old boy via social media and physical contact.
The victim reported to police that Rosafort sent him an indecent photo, asking whether it was by mistake and sending another copy as soon as she realized there may be something amiss with it.
Accusations
State police allege Andie rosafort of New Fairfield has been charged with sexually enticing a minor through computer use and second-degree sexual assault. Rosafort was taken into custody after a report was submitted about alleged inappropriate communications between herself and one of her students.
According to the Daily Star, the victim informed authorities that Rosafort began sending him sexually explicit images and videos in September 2022. Rosafort asked him if he wanted to see her naked before sending further explicit photographs.
On January 13, she allegedly asked for his address to pick him up, drove a short distance away, and engaged in sexual contact. When this contact occurred inside her SUV, the affidavit states. After feeling uncomfortable in its confines, he left.
On February 17, a warrant was issued for her arrest; three days later she surrendered. Now facing charges including enticing minors through email, risk of injury to children, and second-degree sexual assault, among other allegations against her.
Arrests
Rosafort was named in a school district complaint after one of Rosafort’s alleged victims’ parents informed administrators about his son being sexually assaulted at a party hosted by one of her alleged victim’s friends on Jan 13. The teenager informed police he had been communicating with Rosafort for six months on social media, such as Snapchat, starting over the summer before starting freshman year of high school. They exchanged sexy texts and an explicit picture; when he inquired as to its authenticity Rosafort sent another.
On the evening of the party, Rosafort picked him up from his friend’s home in her SUV, drove him a short distance, and had “contact of a sexual nature” while in it, according to an affidavit. Police searched both his cellphone and social media account associated with him and located photos and videos that corroborated what had been reported by him; warrants were then issued for her arrest on February 17 and she turned herself in three days later; charges include second-degree sexual assault, computer enticement of minors, and endangering child welfare among others.
Prosecution

After hearing from school officials about his daughter’s behavior, police began an investigation. Investigators learned that she had been communicating with a lunch lady through private messages for months – the woman is said to have sent explicit videos and nude photos to the victim, according to an affidavit filed with police.
On January 13, Rosafort requested his address and then picked him up in her SUV. They drove for a short distance before engaging in sexual contact. When he felt uncomfortable he exited. Police then conducted searches of both his phone as well as Rosafort’s social media accounts to search for evidence consistent with what had been sent by Rosafort to him during this encounter.
Trial
A lunch lady in New Fairfield, Connecticut allegedly sent 14-year-old Jake sexually explicit images via SnapChat and also asked for photos from him to send to her. Jake reported this interaction to his parents who informed school officials immediately.
According to state police, Rosafort and his victim had been exchanging private messages for some time prior to his being present at Rosafort’s apartment. Rosafort allegedly told him she wanted sex with him before starting their conversation over Instagram and Snapchat; an affidavit also states she sent nude photos to him and requested naked ones from him as evidence against Rosafort.
At a party hosted at one of his friends’ houses on January 13, Rosafort lured him in and tried to convince him into her SUV, according to an affidavit. When the teen felt uncomfortable in Rosafort’s presence he left and went back home before reporting it immediately to his father who promptly reported Rosafort for inducing minors into sexual activity and risk of injury to a minor; Rosafort has since been charged with this act which could result in seven years imprisonment if she is found guilty.
